Fear Sequence II - Avery Joan Faust - The Art of Being Queer

Tonight's queer artist feature is Avery Joan Faust with the incredible new short film Fear Sequence II

Avery Joan Faust is a transgender filmmaker from Maine, USA. Her on-screen character is inspired by strong female roles in sci-fi and horror movies, such as Luv in Blade Runner 2049 and Joan in Blackcoat’s Daughter. Avery acts, costume designs, films and edits all of her own work, and she is currently producing a series of ten short horror films for each of the ten weeks leading up to Halloween. Each of these “Fear Sequences” focuses on a different type of fear— the first being sweetness / poison and the most recent one being paralysis / physical harm. She is hoping to bring horror fans together with her work, and hopefully release full-length productions in the future!
