This episode of The Art of Being Queer Podcast features the extremely talented J GRGRY.
We discuss his amazing discography, his struggles with alcoholism and includes a stripped back version of "Dinosaurs", recorded exclusively for The Art of Being Queer.
Artist Statement:
J GRGRY has been described as The Police and Peter Gabriel meets St Vincent and Portugal The Man. His anthemic and uplifting music draws from his experience growing up as a gay man in an ultra religious environment who then struggled deeply with alcoholism on a path to self acceptance and self love.
Live show highlights include Key Arena with the Killers and The Lumineers for 107.7 The End in Seattle, festival slots at Rifflandia and Bumbershoot as well as sold out club and house shows.
He's had placements with Samsung and Refinery29 and is releasing singles, distributed through Ditto Music, leading up to his debut album in 2020.
