Artist Statement:

Alexis Gútel is a mexican painter with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from the Centro Morelense de las Artes. His artwork explores the human body, the male figure, the sexual desires of gay men, the self-love and the hidden fantasies of men. The color and the stroke are the main core of his stimulant paintings. Gútel's homoerotic art shows a pictorial vision of sexuality and a contemporary sight of gay masculinity.
