Artist Bio:

My name is Gaibriél Mara, I'm 22 years old and I have been drawing all my life. I started doing queer art in high school at just about the same time I found out I loved men but mostly, almost always...I loved women; but just like my sexuality I had to hide them, my secret drawings. Shoved inside a box, tucked deep inside the closet.

One day one of these drawings somehow found its way into someone's hands, so I took a deep breath; and, well - and I quote Nell Crain - "the rest is confetti".

Some six years after, I do illustrations of women who love women, and the best thing about it is: I get to share them without that fear of getting caught, no more hiding. I kiss who I want. I draw what I want.
