Artist Bio:
My name is Elo (she/they) I’m a Montreal based digital illustrator/tattoo apprentice.
My work can be described as trauma art. It mainly focuses on expressing and explaining abstract feelings like gender and body dysphoria through illustration. I take most of my inspiration from slasher and horror films as well as Kawaii culture to create a contrasting aesthetic.
What I hope to accomplish in my work is to reach other queer folks who deal with similar problems and make them feel seen.
