Artist Statement:
People are always afraid of death. But death is not terrible, but rather acceptable. By accepting death, I think that the importance of limited life and the current situation given can be considered as a brighter blink. What is drawn in my self-portrait is drawn to give the subject or the audience a chance to think of death as something closer to them. It is a kind of "memento mori".
