@iamdareo - The Art of Being Queer - Artist Feature

Tonight's queer artist feature is @iamdareo

Jamaican born, Manchester (England) artist Dareo Knott justifies independent excellence. The projects he takes upon are all 100% authentic and tasked by Dareo. From producer, lyricist, graphic designer to Singer, performer and dancer. Because of this when listening to a Dareo Knott track you are getting a genuine and dedicated sum of work. One would argue his songs are an extension of himself.

Heavily inspired by big name artists such as; Kim Petras, Beyonce, Ariana Grande, Lizzo, Becky Hill & Jax Jones. His musical upbringing was more soulful constantly listening to Stevie Wonder, Otis Reading, Michael Jackson and many more, Dareo Knott carries this soulful background no matter genre.

Openly gay and active member of the LGBTQ+ community I'm sure his work when risen will do wonders for the push for LGBTQ+ rights globally.

Brought up in deprivation and brought into the care system when he was 6 years old. Music was Dareo's only friend and saw him through all the bad and the ugly. He now seeks to give people like him the chance for music to do the same thing for people like him in the system.

Make sure you follow the artist and The Art of Being Queer for regular queer content!
