Joe Angel, also knows as Le Joe is from northern California and uses acrylic paints, watercolors, illustrations, and cinematography media to express ideas of self-expression, the self esteem, and philosophy.

This would pressure Le Joe to make adult decisions at such a young age and assist his non-English speaking mother in American social situation all meanwhile experiencing his own sexual questioning at a young age.

This would lead to deep analysis into his self esteem that would later create a reflective relationship with his inner self and establish deeper connections to others.

Techniques include still lifes, portraits, geometry, high values, nude drawings, chiaroscuro, and abstraction of everyday objects.

His philosophy is to follow your heart because we have only one life, have fun, take things lightly, and most importantly, be nice to another because we never know what someone is going through.

Le Joe currently lives in the marine city of Salinas, CA as a single gay man continuing to create multiple media art and pushes towards activism on LGBTQ Empowerment and social equality.
