Morphe is undeniably the hottest makeup brand of 2019. The international brand is known for its support of the queer community, collaborating with the likes of Jeffree Star, James Charles and Shane Dawson. In June they again showed themselves to be true allies of the community by donating 100% of their profits from the “Morphe Live in Colour Pride Collection” to LGBTQ+ charity @thetrevorgroup
The Art of Being Queer was lucky enough to be invited to their influencer and press event, to celebrate the launch of the Newcastle store and gorgeous new “39L HIT THE LIGHTS ARTISTRY PALETTE”.
The brand new store located in Intu Eldon Square is absolutely stunning. The beautiful aesthetic of the store was also reflected in the vast range of makeup and accessories on offer. Morphe products are some of the most sought after products in the makeup industry and the Newcastle store has been warmly welcomed.
At the event we got a demonstration of the new “39L HIT THE LIGHTS ARTISTRY PALETTE” The look that was created was beautiful and I was in awe at just how little product was needed for amazing coverage.
The store may have only been open a little over a week upon my visit, but it has already attracted some celebrity visitors. The Frock Destroyers performed at an event organized by KLUB KIDS at Powerhouse Newcastle this week. The three legendary queens visited the brand new Newcastle branch with Davina de Campo sharing this hilarious Instagram story.
The atmosphere in the store was warm, welcoming and inclusive. The Newcastle branch has a lovely team and it was a pleasure to meet them and their MUA skills were unbelievable.
I would like to thank Davina and Morphe for a wonderful day and the awesome products! Make sure you head over to the new branch, it will not disappoint!
