Artist Statement:

My name is Soni Lopez-Chavez. I am and artist from Guanajuato Mexico. I am currently living and creating in San Diego. I create to help me heal and to find sanity from this crazy world. I find inspiration from all the different cultures and colors in my community. I choose to create queer art to support and highlight the beauty within the queer community.
