Indie pop artist Florián Rose releases his largest project to date: Summer Nights, a dreampop EP with aspects of Lo-fi, electronic music, city pop and progressive undertones. It contains the songs “Boys In Cars”, “Watch Your Back” and the title track “Summer Nights”.
Florián has been building a small reputation as a self-made DIY artist, writing and producing on his own, but this time around he’s joined forces with rap artist Landon Miller and electronic musician/guitarist ZALATAN, making their first music collaboration for the second track on the extended play.
The three songs are thematically connected and follow a nostalgic story of love, heartbreak and friendship. All wrapped by imagery of the seaside, city lights and summer experiences from his youth.
Florián explains: “I think of this EP as a sort of short film, but told through music. From track number one to number three you can perceive a narrative development, with a climax and an open end. It’s an invitation for people to create their own movie on their minds as they listen to the songs, and hopefully they’ll see their own experiences reflected in them.”
Summer Nights is available worldwide on Spotify, Apple Music and other streaming services.
