Artist Statement:

I started as a means of expressing myself and utilizing art mediums that resonated with me. Through costume creation, wig styling, makeup artistry, and music I found my voice. As a POC (person of color), often our voices are silenced. Drag empowers me to get my messages across and create connections; bridging the gap. “Lux” derives from the Latin root meaning “light”. I like to think of Olivia Lux as warmth, a positive light, a thought- energy!
